Your Questions Answered
No, we store all spam submissions in case something goes wrong or a user made a mistake while filling your form. You can mark spam submissions as clean through the dashboard and trigger your usual integrations.
Absolutely. All submissions are transmitted over HTTPS and stored securely in our database. Only you (and any team members you explicitly grant access to) can view your form data from the dashboard. We never share or sell your data.
You don't need to make any changes to your form! If you're using Webflow, you'll just need to add a data attribute to let our script know which forms should send data to Formtress. You can also get rid of any captchas or other validation methods that may disrupt the user.
No. Submissions are persisted to the database as soon as they pass validation. We maintain regular backups to ensure your data is recoverable even in the unlikely event of a server failure.
Formtress is built to scale automatically — each submission is processed independently, so there's no single point of failure to overwhelm. Rate limiting is in place to protect your endpoints from abuse, but legitimate traffic is handled normally no matter how much volume you receive.
Formtress enforces payload size limits and validates all incoming data against the rules you've defined for each field. Oversized or malicious payloads are rejected and discarded. Regular spam submissions that pass basic validation are kept separately — they're never deleted, so you can review them and restore any false positives back into your clean submissions.
